About
Corey is an award-winning cinematographer currently based in Los Angeles, CA. Originally from Minnesota, he studied film at the University of Wisconsin - Madison, while he was also the director of the Wisconsin Union Film Committee.
He has shot several feature-length films, including "Oildale", which won the award for "Best Cinematography" at the SENE Film Festival. His documentary work has brought him all over the world, and into the most unique situations, such as the Beijing 2022 and Tokyo 2020 Olympics, Burning Man, Coachella, the British Virgin Islands, and many more. Recently, he camera operated on two Netflix documentaries: Jim Carrey's "Jim & Andy: The Great Beyond" and "Return to Space" with Elon Musk. But not to be forgotten, is his time as a production assistant on the original cinematic masterpiece, "Sharknado".
When he's not holding a camera, he enjoys camping, biking, tennis, cooking, and petting other people's dogs.
